Brio's Tuscan Grille will be trying to win the Best of the Savory again this year and asking for your votes as they vie for the coveted Best Savory award for 2014 at the Dress for Success San Antonio gala. Last year, Brio's Tuscan Grille won Best Savory and they are issuing a challenge to the other area restaurants, "We dare all you chefs to take it away from us for 2014," said Jeff Sauceda, General Manager at Brio Tuscan Grille. "Dress for Success® San Antonio and Career Gear San Antonio are such worthy causes and we love helping the community. Besides, the competition element is so much fun!"

San Antonio, July, 2014 - Dress for Success® San Antonio and Career Gear San Antonio are pleased to invite you to join us for A Taste of Success Casino Night, sponsored by Capital One and Valero. On Friday, October 24, 2014, at the Sheraton Gunter Hotel, we will be featuring the phenomenal cuisine of local restaurants, play time at the casino tables, dancing, and exciting auction items you will want to take home.

For our second year, the fabulous participating restaurants include Brio Tuscan Grille, Liberty Bar, Zedric's Fresh Gourmet to Go, OCHO, Michelino's, Saltgrass Steak House, Stella Public House, Market on Houston, Tejas Steakhouse and Saloon, and Citrus, to name a few. They will be sharing the best of the best tastes and asking for your vote as they vie for the coveted Best Savory and Best Sweet awards for 2014. We have a prize drawing featuring a Forrest Lodge Oregon getaway complete with airline tickets valued at $5,000; and a beautiful Clover Diamond Pendant donated by Mark Sadovsky Jewelers. Mr. and Ms. Sadovsky are great supporters of Dress for Success® San Antonio and Career Gear San Antonio, and this year they are being honored at the event for their continued and generous support. Dress for Success San Antonio and Career Gear San Antonio, local 501(c)(3) nonprofits, target the needs of low-income families by promoting economic security and self-sufficiency to break the chains of generational poverty through job preparation, employment retention, and career development programs.

Since July 2002, Dress for Success San Antonio has been committed to stopping the cycle of generational poverty, violence, and homelessness in our community. We do this by offering a number of different programs focused on helping clients obtain and maintain employment for the betterment of themselves and the families they support. Our approach prioritizes educating clients about career choice and employment stability; our primary focus is on career development and support, with clothing used as a tool to complete professional presentation. Our emphasis is on education, teaching clients to understand the world of work and their places in it, with on-line skills training, business etiquette and problem-solving, contemporary search strategies and safe social networking.
