New SEO Strategies That Work

It's important to know what elements go into SEO. This tree diagram shows some of the most important factors in SEO.

There are a lot of guides and graphs and tips out there for SEO and well some got it and some don't. I know, it's hard, but who do you believe? I keep trying to scan through them all and glean the best information from each one. I'd like to share this information now with you. Below I've listed some of the best tips I've found that seem to work.

  • Page Content - Content on a page must be valuable. Remove pages that offer little value. Would you want to be led to a site that gives you no useful information?
  • Coding Issues - Make sure to stay on top of coding issues, or any other errors because you want your site to load fast, look great, and function properly.
  • Market your Great Content - Focus on marketing valuable and unique content for a few weeks via email, social media, outreach, and other niche influences relevant to your content. When searching the internet and you come across information similar or relevant to yours, makes sure to comment and reference back to your site.
  • Find sites relevant to your site - Submit stellar content for publication. Once your post is published, link back to your site. This can lead powerful traffic back to your website.
  • Talk about it! - Get social. Google Plus, Twitter and Facebook are all outlets that you can use to reach a massive audience.
  • Submit to Directories - Look at the quality, editorial requirements and age of directory sites. Remember, "you are the company you keep", just like your mom has always said.
  • Words of Wisdom! - Whenever you post on your blog, write for another site, or leave a comment, sharing only high-quality good content. You can never make a second first impression.
  • Be a creative trendsetter - Always be looking for new ways to improve your site and raise rankings. Take your unique industry knowledge and become an expert, problem solver, and innovator.

These are just a few ideas. I am always looking for great information to share and use. SEO is a constant. So keep informed. What kinds of things have you been doing? Let me know
